How to Run the game: Extract the folder "HouseOfTorment1.0" from the zip file, then open the extracted "HouseOfTorment1.0" folder, go to the "windows" folder inside it, and run the "horrorgame.exe" file to play the game.

Its great but in needs mouse sens options.
Does Life imitate art? or does art imitate life? Fun game overall good effort for being your first game, presumably made in 4 monthes. You have potential nero.

Bug Report: if you leave Asmon's house after the shadows in the woods chase, it resets you back at the shack.
You should have released this on steam & included controller support or a way to map keys so players dont need to resort to third party mappers.
Awesome game! Some bugs, but to be honest it was a really fun experience. Worth it. You did very well putting it together too :D

okay i have to say, really fun game.. the playground mode is a little messed up.. THE LONGER YOU PLAY IT THE MORE THE VIDEO GETS CORRUPTED AND YOUR GAME LAGS.. AND THE MOVING PLATFORMS ARENT FUN, BUT OVERALL SUPER FUN.. AND THE SECRET WAS WELL WORTH THE 200+ FAILURES TO GET TO..

anyone encounter the box not opening when you have the key, i opened the safe in the garden and got to the shed but it wouldn't open
Once you open safe you need to go straight to the chest on the cabin to open it.
do not go inside the house after opening the safe outside, its a bug I didnt know existed till now. sorry!
Was eager to play it but there are some aspects that keeps me from fully enjoying it. I am left handed and there is no option for rebinding keys. Also no invert mouse option for the y-axis on top no mouse sensitivity options. Would be nice to have those options in the future.

every time i hide under the bed, the game error and i lose all my progress.
i would prefer to have collision wall instead of out of boundary, cause i'm blind can't see the area where it's out of boundary. lol.
when I hide in the locker, there are lots of kids, when i get out i am stuck and die
Sorry about your bad experiences with the game, I have seen other people's game crash when hiding under the bed but unfortunately after many attempts that has never happened to me so I dont know what is causing it to some people therefore I dont know how to fix it.
By kids, did you mean shadow figures? Hiding in the locker doesnt work with them, you need to stare at them constantly, they only move when you're not looking at them or you are hidden from them (in this case its the locker).
I apologize again for your bad experience, I recommend watching asmongold's walkthrough the game to understand how to get through the shadow people part of the game:
thank you!! I am going to try again with the kids. about the bug under the bed, lemme explain the situation so perhaps you can find the bug. Usually when Asmon comes out from his attic room after we unlock the room where we see the first victim's body.
that time, I hurriedly went under the bed but then it crashed after staying under the bed for 3 seconds. may be the bug exist after, Asmon comes to the room, where we hide under the bed, to check on us. May be there's an error whenever someone hide under the bed after we open the first locked door? idk.
